Does anyone have information on this building. Noticed some increased activity in this building in the past two months. Too many people selling - Anyone knows why people are trying to get out?

That was a very late (2004) co-op conversion. IIRC it's been discussed here as to why co-op rather than condo. Something to do with the large mortgages the co-op assumed from the sponsor.

The sponsor must still have some to sell, and the 2004 insider purchasers may be looking to take their profits. Not all that many for sale considering size of building, though.

Doesn't seem like a bad place to live if you don't mind all the Columbia students and living in a very small apartment. Really close to the 1 train and maybe 10minutes from the B C.

More importantly its only a few blocks away from Taqueria y Fonda la Mexicana.
