Metropolis Condo in Harlem - Anyone?

Are you sure that's a good neighborhood? I drove few times there and it's pretty bad. Also the traffic was a nightmare since I was trying to get to the RFK bridge.

Triborough Bridge a/k/a "the Triboro" was the PERFECT name.

No, in fact I don't think that is a very good neighborhood at all. Although I'm not too familiar with it. It seems to me like the closer you get to the bridge, the worse it gets.
I'm just curious, we're in contract so its not really an option for us anyways.

It will always be the Triboro bridge to me.

I have that "RFK Bridge" is another "Avenue of the Americas" exercise in renaming futility (no disrespect to RFK), it will always be Triboro to New Yorkers. But who knows in 20 years I'll talk about taking the Triboro and some young person could look at me the same way I would at my mother when she would ask me (in 2002 or thereabouts) if I was flying out of "LaGuardia or Idelwild".

Can someone remember how much we spent on signs etc to rename the bridge - wasn't it about $5M or something stupid?

Not only did they spend a fortune on new signs, they removed all references to the Triboro. So every out of towner with a navigation system from a few years ago is screwed and probably living on Randall's Island right now.

As I recall they tried the same thing with Avenue of the Americas and after years of confusion, gave up and added "Sixth Avenue" signs underneath.
