Discussion about
U.S. Stocks Slide, Extend Weekly Drop, on Consumer, CIT Concern Oct. 30 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. stocks tumbled the most since July after declines in personal spending and consumer confidence and the threat of a CIT Group Inc. bankruptcy raised concern over the durability of the economic recovery. The dollar and Treasuries gained, while commodities retreated.
crickets from steveF...
we almost got thru October without the usual selloff. Monday promises to be ugly. November usually starts a typically bullish part of the year but this market has been anything but typical the past 14 months. Maybe we bottom Monday but we are very close to reversing the monthly uptrend. If violated we could go down to the March lows. That ain't gonna be pretty for our RE market.
steve only acknowlegdes opinions and speculation..not actual data points
SteveF would actually have to move up a few notches to even get to the point where it could be called "speculation". Its really just idiocy now...
