This week: 5bd 3.5 bth, asking 1.25M, sold for 980k;

Last week: Juno st, asking 1.2M, sold for 850k!!!

What about LIC? It only ever goes UP in value, dummies!

It's because of the TAX BENEFIT!

I followed LIC peripherally as I thought the pricing was outrageous. Have any price chops to share?

Here's another building - we looked out the Crown Hts / Prospect Lefferts Area and this building, a recent conversion is doing very poorly now. According to ACRIS they've had a City sale now - tax liens. It seems all remaining apts have been de-listed.

MP: "Owner says sell 699000 minimum bid for 2 bedroom 2 bath condo"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

That makes it more expensive by $2,000 a month than my 21st floor flat at 52nd & 8th.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Karma prediction: At age 90, Steve ends up in an assisted living facility in Long Island City, NY. Of course, it will be beautiful by then.

"give birth to Liza?"

First I'd have to be drugged & boozed, and I don't partake.

kevin5 - I have seen some priced reductions in Astoria, but I think that Astoria was slower in new buildings, and existing ones seem to have more chops.

Mpan - How can anyone have thought that pricing 'strategy' made sense?
