The $299k UWS Studio (101/cpw)

I've always wondered, in these tiny hotel-room sized apartments with only ONE closet (and not even a walk-in), where do people keep stuff like the vacuum cleaner, broom, mop, dustpan, etc.?

The owner won't ever have to clean because s/he will be hospitalized for psychosis due to itty-bitty apartment syndrome.

I actually had a giant apartment (1400 square foot loft one bedroom) and there was a coat closet (great). Walk in closet in bedroom (great). But no linen closet (doable, just use the walk in). But no broom closet. Its not about space, its about dirt. You don't want brooms and stuff like that near clothes or towels or whatever.

way over priced! on the sq ft basis - it should be noted that the apt is only 10' wide with a very very small kitchen. i've seen other units in this building. at one point they were hoping for over $400K. this is worth about 300/sqft. and of course no closet space.

That particular area has had relative "bargains" in the past. Even in major bubble times (ie: 2007) I saw a pretty nice 1BR on 100th/CPW for about the same ppsf and very very low maintenance (~300/mo). The address sounds nicer to those somewhat unfamiliar with the immediate area because of its proximity to CPW, but you'll soon understand why if you walk one block over. This is not the Columbus Ave of the West 70s, but it is changing (hopefully for the better), so I can see this being a good place for a "starter" apartment (and I hate that term). Don't know much about this specific unit though.

This is at best a $175K apartment.
