buying to sublet

Im thinking of buying a small apartment (about 650 sq ft) in a nice location like Park Slope or Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill to sublet. Am I crazy to do it now? What would be the returns. Does it make good investment sense. Gurus out there can take this one.
