We're planning a move to NYC sometime next year. Getting to know neighborhoods long distance is challenging. Can anyone give me some insight into the neighborhood surrounding the Flatiron district?

question is somewhat broad (or maybe i am sleepy already!!!). are you looking for info on flatiron or areas surrounding? that could be union square, chelsea ect???

Thanks RE2009. I realized my wording was poor after I posted. I did mean info on the Flatiron district. Also, if you know anything about an area that I believe is referred to as Midtown south, that would be helpful. Thank you!
