Discussion about
Lofty - looked great, I loved "drive a truck across Africa" , you probably will help drive prices up in Williamsburg as a totally creative "boomer"
Sorry - almost full page about Lofty in NY Magazine
Lofty, good piece.
The chairs from the old place look great in the new.

Wonderful pix and nice article. Didn't Trinityparent do this as well? I think it takes guts...
LoftyDreams == trinityparent. New nick for new place.
Nice article...Now go negotiate a package deal at w11......
I have a friend who does PR for some developers in the nabe - she pitched the story to NYM. The chairs are copies of Pierre Poulin "Orange Slice" chairs from White on White - really cheap repros of classic mid-century furniture. NWT- I love that you know we had them in the old apt - did you see them there?
Yeah, in the ad and video. You wouldn't think they'd "go" in your old LR, but they did.
jim, are they for sale? I thought the building was foreclosed.
Yeah..w11 is in some legal financial morass. At some point it will come out of it, but who knows when. If a true bargain were to be had it would be nice in theory to line up a group of buyers ....but as discussed on some thread once, it would be hard.
Ive forgotton how many units it is....but if someone went to the developer and/or lender...maybe soething would happen.
Drat. I was talking to someone about that at the SE get-together and have forgotten who it was. I was the only one drinking the white wine, I think.
me, Lofty
Oh good! Flatiron, do you want to look into this? Putting together a group of buyers? I haven't looked at Warehouse 11 = it's been padlocked since I've been looking. Is it wonderful? Is it on a toxic oil spill or something? Are its northbound views blinded by the klieg lights in McC Park? Is it full of mold now?
as per the last time you guys mentioned this.. i will happily throw a party in your warehouse 11 once a month to help with the mortgage payments! just SAY the word : )
