Tipping--London Terrace Gardens

I moved in the London Terrace Gardens (the rental complex in Chelsea) about five months ago. I have never lived in a doorman building before and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions regarding tipping. The problem is that there is probably 80 or so people working in the complex, and I don't think there is a pool... I don't know the majority of the people working here. Should I tip only the doormen whose faces I recognize? If so, would I tip them directly? Is there an accepatble range...?
