Discussion about
So now that I have a list of people who work in my building, what are the approximate tipping ratios for the following? Superintendent - gets the most, right? Handymen Concierge Doormen Porters The superintendent gets the most, right? Do handymen then get more than doormen? Is concierge a higher title than doormen, thus necessitating a higher tip? I don't quite know what to do with all of these categories, and I don't want to accidentally cause offense. Thanks for advice.

He probably has a high 6 or 7 figure salary and gets at least a 6 figure bonus but those darn staff deserve nothing. We are the scum of the earth. Worse than drug dealers and prostitutes. Yet he chooses to live in a building where there is staff.

It would sem that maintenance & handyman are the same, no? Call the managing agent of the building & ask 'cause I'm just guessing. What's the difference between a garbageman & a hygeine worker?

Not true.

The staff deserves the salaries which they negotiated -- and voted in favor of -- through their union contract.

There's nothing "scummy" about it.
