Are Axelrod and Plouffe managing the building? "we are the ones we have been waiting for".....

The woman who showed us an apartment in this building was incredibly rude. When we emailed the manager to complain, he asked us to give up her name which we were loath to do (As rude as she was, we weren't looking to get her fired, just wanted to deal with a new person). Then he assured us complete discretion. Then someone else from the company emailed us to get more details on what the rude woman actually did and cc'd the same rude woman on the email. They are a bunch of crazies and the rents listed on their website bear no relation to the actual rents.

When we went, they quoted us rents that were much higher - more than $1,000 higher- than what was on the website. When we mentioned that, they said the website rents were outdated and they needed to update them. Perhaps they have at this point. If it is a scam designed to mislead it's a pretty silly one. A person who comes looking for a $3,600 apartment is probably not going to be able to afford a $4,400 apartment, so it's really a waste of everyone's time.

just looked at this place...the ad in the nytimes said they were offering 2 months free. when we looked at 808 columbus we found out that they are only offering this on the low floors and it is for a 14 month lease. so they are basically giving you nothing.

prices are sky high considering the location - completely surrounded by housing projects. tiny 2 bed/2 bath is in the mid $4000's.

i live in this hood and would NEVER pay what these folks are asking for a rental. However just so you folks know those buildings(that look like projects) on either side of this place on 97th st are not projects. Just very ugly coops. The projects are further up on columbus from 100th thru 104th st
