Discussion about
I was actually surpised it was Bernanake. I thought it would be Pelosi or Sarah Palin, especially considering that the average American likely has no clue who the heck Bernanke is. http://www.time.com/time/specials/packages/article/0,28804,1946375_1948023_1947253,00.html An interesting fact abotu him is that he gets his suits from Jos. A. Bank.
I suppose in a world where Barack Obama is awarded a Nobel Peace Prize, this makes perfect sense.

In 1938, Time named Hitler "Man of the Year"

Hater.
Right, why give it to the man (OK, head of institutions) which saved the economy from total collapse. Clearly we should give it to John Q. Bubble-buyer who was responsible for taking us to the edge, without whom Bernanke would be relegated to a footnote of history. So John Q. It is, in the same style as Hitler, notoriously defining an era.
