It used to be that when I refreshed the SE talk page, I'd get all excited seeing my favorite threads getting a new post and shuffled up to the top. Then clicking through, I'd see that it instead only held another post from hfscomm1 copy-and-pasting a favorite line from one of his hated posters, repeating the same old tired accusations, thereby giving purpose to his life.
While it may be true that all the new posts now actually have content, they're just not as frequent any more. So hfscomm1, I bid you farewell. No doubt you are sitting in your dark, dank basement contemplating your banishment and plotting your revenge as you read this, sure that SE will rue the day they made this decision. Your posts may be banished, but your message of "post nicely or I'll act like a turd until your eyes bleed" still lives and makes us all think twice about the tone of any of our posts. A peaceful message, wrapped in bursts of outrage, the ends justifying the means.
Friends, let us not look at this as a funeral, but rather a wake, a time of celebration, for the leaving of our beloved hfscomm1.
