Contact the Bar Association or ask a friend. Why would you take advice from a total anonymous stranger?

If you get a name of an attorney, you can find out a little about them from the Martindale Hubbell Law Directory at martindale.com.

There are 4 zillion real estate attorneys in NYC, and many of them are not so good, and some of them are really, really expensive. You've got to talk to your own friends and especially your lawyer friends and especially your intelligent lawyer friends.

I am SO GLAD I don't have to do jackshite for the holidays! My dog is dying of cancer and has a strange metallic smell because her dog-food-for-dogs-with-cancer has a strange metallic smell.
And so my entire abode has a strange metallic smell .......
I spent a lot of money on a good real estate attorney a year and a half ago when people in my coop were acting dastardly ....

Poorish...really sorry about your dog. Dealing with illness and loss of beloved feline/canine companions is as heartwrenching and stressful and any other bereavement, although we often don't get the support we need or deserve. Cherish the time you have, know that you are continuing to give the gift of care and love and when the time comes allow happy memories to help you through sad times.

Thanks, nyg, RE, and Liz ---- yes, it's hard to deal with a dying dog ----- she stares at me a lot, and I think her stare is slowly beginning to shift to the death gaze ......................
But she doesn't at all seem to be in pain and is on good medication. However, I totally believe that some dogs hide their pain as a courtesy to their owners/strategy to maintain their co-dependent status.
