Wow, teeman sounds like he got a board rejection or something. My best friend lives in the building and I'm there all the time. It's a lovely building with really nice apartments. It is well cared for as well. I'm an accountant and she let me look at the financial statements. Everything is in order. The board is doing a lot of facade work as well as structural upgrades in the building. Real estate taxes in the city went up over 7% last year and like most buildings they passed it along in the maintenance. This is an old building and like all old buildings things need to be redone structurally. They are taking care of it. I saw no problems in the financial statements. I did hear someone had a board rejection in the building recently because the buyer lied about his/her finances. Was it you teeman? I think it's time to move on and get a life.

k9ahara, yes, teeman was rejected without an interview. Here's the thread: http://streeteasy.com/nyc/talk/discussion/17901-rejected-by-co-op-board

Whether because of fudged finances, or a package radiating personality disorder, or what, we'll never know. It's March 2011, 14 months later, and he's still stalking the building.

Maybe teeman should go on tour with Charlie. Aparently there is money to be made in his chosen genre.

teeman is correct about the VUDU lounge and the "animals" that go there. They are not UESiders, they are extremely loud, cursing and hanging out on the streets, and many times I have seen the police there. Also at the corner there is a demolition of many tenaments possibly with plans of a high rise. This corner is not exactly where one would want to have a family living, because of the filth from the homeless and the trash that hangs out at this lounge.

Young people going out to the bars on 2nd Ave?!?! Who knew this? Why haven't the newspapers reported on this?

The UES hasn't been really "hot" in a decade or two. And the hotter the bar then better for a resident long term since it isn't likely to stay that way for more than a couple of years, so buy your RE while it is cheap.

Yeah, but teeman can't sell out Radio City.

Nor is he a model for youth. My sister showed her kids a picture of the saggy-titted ravaged-face Charlie and said "See what drugs can do? He's only 45!" Much more effective than the picture of some stranger with meth teeth.

I agree with BertaNY, anyone interested in the building, should walk around the corner on a Thursday-Friday-Saturday evening and see what the VUDU Lounge thing is, a red carpet private club disaster with people from the BRONX all over the streets with big mouths and noise, animals says BertaNY, no wild beasts, it's located between 77/78 St, west side of street, drive by a 4AM when it closes and watch the deal, the police arrive almost every night, some nights they are always around, I wouldn't want to live within blocks of this thing, not good at all, all the apartments are in deep deep trouble!!

Any one interested in this building.., do your self a favor, and check out the VUDO lounge thing around the corner on a Thursday/Friday/Saturday evening, it's a red carpet private club disaster. Pass by at 4AM when it closes or any time in the early morning hours, people outside yelling/screaming and making all sorts of noises, the police often have been called. I'm sure this is the reason this building hires evening security guards, VUDU is located on first avenue between 77/78 Streets right around the corner, all the apartments in this location and similar buildings are troubled with this thing, don't take my word check it out yourself, let the buyer beware, that's the purpose of this open forum, take note StreetEasy !!
NEWS FLASH, PASS BY VUDO, IT'S NOW AT LEAST TEMPORARILY CLOSED, THE STATE LIQUOR AUTHORITY HAS SHUT IT FOR UNDERAGE DRINKING, SO THE POSTING SAYS.....

KNOW THE TRUTH AND IT SHALL SET YOU FREE

sometimes the "truth" can be a catalyst for raving lunacy.

what are you going to do if they shut down the club? what then? hey, everybody, go buy in this building that rejected me, vudo has closed? seems like you're on the verge of a major cognitive dissonance problem.

Anyone reading teeman's rants clearly will see he has a tremendous axe to grind against this building. By obsessing over this building he's undermined his credibilty. Vudu is indeed located nearby, but it is not the catastrophe teeman would like it to be. And, no, I don't live there.

for all you blogging people who think you know it all, kindly go to this weeks www.ourtownny.com and READ, under East side news, 'GOTTA DANCE?" article, assuming you can read, the article about the VUDU LOUNGE disaster, all the State Senators, State Assemblymen and City Council members who like me have been trying to shut it down, if you buy real estate within blocks of this thing, wear bullet proof vests when you pass it, Streeteasy I've been trying to warn potential buyers in the neighborhood, do you have a conflict of interest when it comes to the truth? or do you listen to the NYC broker community who only wants to make the next sale, and are no different than shoe salesmen...................it's NOW open again to terrorize the entire community
LET THE BUYERS BEWARE

Does anybody know if the building still has an occupancy limits policy in place? I remember for a studio they allowed only 1 person, for a 1 bdr 2 person and 1 child, for a 2 bdr 2 adults and 2 children and so on..
