(Discussing listing at 525 East 72nd Street) hmmm I live in this building, lets just say that Solow Management have been cutting a number of corners around here lately. With the cancelling of the chitney, the revoking of the storage space, the 18 month elevator saga, the failure to turn up for minor repairs it's a nice building and the prices are reasonable but you may not last more than a year like we have. time to move, I know we wont be missed by management but you need to ask yourself why there is so much turnover in this building.

There does appear to be tremendous turnover. The building's reputation with regard to security is horrendous. And speaking of that, the staff leave a lot to be desired.

I just moved in so I can only give a one-month appraisal. My impressions are:

Pros:
1. Very clean and well-maintained building. Lobby and hallways are spotless.
2. Staff seems diligent and helpful.

Cons
1. Freight elevator policy on weekends is very strict. Don't try to move furniture in unless M-F.
2. Watch out for $80/month "window washing charge." It showed up on my first rent bill and I wasn't informed by the rental agent. READ THE LEASE CAREFULLY!
3. Sometimes hard to get a cab in the morning.
