Even better, abolish the IRS and the personal income tax altogether. Doing so would force the U.S. government to live on a reduced budget the same size it worked with all the way back in ... 1997!

So says the rental landlord who had court cases against his tenants
So says the renter who didn't pay last month's rent
So says the Ivy League MBA who blames racism for no longer being an investment banker
So says the guy who encouraged a conspracy to create artificial and illegal short sales to cheat the bank: http://streeteasy.com/nyc/talk/discussion/17221-lesson-4-mathematical-example-of-moral-hazard-why-taxpayers-r-screwed

Flat tax is the way to go.
-------------------------

not taxing labor and instead taxing much more consumption (especially discretionary) and property/inheritances would do wonders to our work ethic.

Still want to know why Charles Rangel isn't in jail.
And if he doesn't go why should any other new yorkers take paying their taxes seriously.

If Obama wants to champion accountability on the bankers, how about putting your money where your mouth is and start with politicians.

If I get a new keyboard, you can't deduct it on your taxes. That's a no-no.

Tax consumption, not productivity (i.e income), tax the church, and raise the gas tax.

Uhm duhh,

Agents don't want to update Technology, since they prefer the high possibility of human error.

That way, they can keep their jobs and collect their salary/pension/benefits from said taxpayers.

Oh, sweet irony.
