Why do we need to attack this way? Is she really worthy of comment? Look, this past weekend, Daisy Duke went to speak at the John Birch society, and they loved her.... As Gomer Pyle use to say, SURPRISE, SURPRISE!! So we feel compelled to find something “substantive” to criticize, we can't help ourselves, and we select... the hand notes she made.. REALLY? And we couldn't anticipate that this would turn into a comparison of Daisy with her hand notes vs the POTUS with his Teleprompter, thus potentially diminishing Barack in the eyes of the non-partisans in the middle watching all this snipping from the left and right.

Personally, I don't think the Teleprompter OR the hand notes are a big deal, Obama is an articulate guy, does fine in interviews, and she's a dope in all her interviews, that’s that. Anyone with half a brain and an internet connection could find thousands unscripted Obama "speeches", like that latest Q&A for the republicans that demonstrate that he is clearly a very smart and well spoken man. A broken teleprompter could throw off even the most seasoned speaker.
