I would only add this and then I'll retreat to calmer ground: have your fun, be nice and once you're over yourself, marry. It took me 40yrs; some take longer, some less. But do yourself and those you love a favor, don't try and straighten out both heads at a time when others have bought into the notion that you had already taken care of "IT." If you need to, work on it up to that point when you doubt you'll ever conceive. Then have a kid or two and allow them to sweep your cynical ass into retirement on ski hills, skating rinks and sailboats. Hold hands when they're gone, downsize into a 1br rental by the sea, then travel, paint and read till you die.
