The maintenance is completely absurd, but that's A LOT of space in a great neighborhood, good views, pretty nice apt, etc. Taking it to the absolute extreme, if I could buy this place for $1, I would do so in a second. Now, $1.6MM, is a whole lot more than $1, but where do you draw that line. How low does the price have to go to for me (or for you) to bite? Thoughts?
Land lease building - really good reason not to buy there
If I cared to live there (I don't think I do), the bear in me might pull the trigger at even $500K. But given that the highest bid is only $1 at the moment, I'll go with $10.
