It costs a lot - and it is easier to find your own contractor and work with him.

I got an estimate from them about a year and half ago. Very nice people, but their bid came in a double what 2 other contractors bid. Check out Angies List.

I don't recommend them. I had a consultation with them about renovating my apartment. Their estimate was rather high and they weren't very helpful about answering my questions. Obviously I didn't choose them for the project.

I wouldn't recommend them either. Sadly, I'm one of many.

Neither would I. Unfortunately I am in the midst of a kitchen renovation and what I am having to go through certainly does not live up to the hype. Nishka

They are very very overpriced - Take a look at ow much the spend on their showroom and the DVD they give to everone - They tried to charge me $6000 for a paintjob that cost no more than $2000

Stay away....

We hired this company for our $180K renovation only to find they were operating during most of the project without a license. The Dept. of Consumer Affairs sited them for 11 violations on our project, including "Deceptive trade practice," "Unconscionable trade practice," "Willful deviation from plans without consent of the homeowner," and "Failure to perform services under a Home Improvement contract." We are in the process of suing them but guess what? Their supposed $5 million insurance policy(s) specifically exclude: ”construction management errors & omissions,” “professional liability,” “breach of contract,” and virtually all damages related to mismanagement. Thanks to MyHome, our home is in ruins." See http://thirdfolio.com/MyHome/Updates.html for details.
