Does anyone have any news about the EDGE? Any closing soon? Why does Street Easy indicate all records as "off-market"?

have no back up but i would assume their pricing in an over built area along with their snobby sales staff had something to do with the lack of sales. i would think they will be back on the market as rentals or at 20% discount after foreclosure (like others in the area).
all that said, i do like them, but i do think they may be delusional about pricing, after all, there are only so many douchebag banker types willing to pay exorbitant amounts for properties in willyb. that lack of the douche factor is what made willyb better than manhattan in the first place, so i think it will even out. i'll try to stop by there on my way to bushwick

w67th, it never "went" anywhere. Closings have started as of a few weeks ago, and the first retail tenant is in and open (a pretty good wine shop). It'll be a while before they sell out given the prices, but I have little doubt that they will within a couple years. Buildings selling out pre-TCO is not normal, despite what 2006 would have you think.

there is a yahoo group/blog

edgeincontract @yahoo.com

This is a group for open discussion of Edge related issues amongst contract holders and serious buyers. You must be a contract holder or serious buyer to be a member of this group.

Anyone affiliated or employed by the Developers Group, Douglaston Development, Levine Builders or any other company or organization involved with the marketing, selling, construction, development, or financing of the Williamsburg Edge condo is not eligible to join this group and must declare him or herself to be so.

After negotiations and back and forth discussions the situation at Williamsburg Edge has been resolved. I will be moving into the building next month.

I do not wish to receive anymore communications on this matter

Thank you
Jaynie
