Interior Door Width

Hi, I am wondering if there is a standard interior door width in New York defined by NYC building code? The apt I am currently live in (condo built in 80s) has door width about 3 feet whereas a co-op I am interested in buying (built in 60s) has interior doors (like bathroom, bedroom doors) measuring only 29 inches. Thanks.

~30" is pretty common but new appartments are designed to be easily adaptable for people with disabilities and the the 36" wide doors allow a wheel chair to go in easly.
