That's the facts Jack. By the looks of what happening in the 10 year looks like mortgage rates will continue to drop from here.
where? the rates are a bit lower on the sites that i watch, but not lower than 12 months ago...
CNBC reported that mortgage rates are lower today than they were exactly one year ago.
nationally, or in NYC? in NYC the rates are only slightly lower as per my mortgage broker. I'm trying to decide whether i should lock in or wait a bit longer...
Look at the 10 yr it's lower todays so you may want to see if it dips below 5% before you decide to lock in rates.
Response to #4 - We locked in our rates for 90 days - a one-time fee of 25 basis points (under $1000) will give us peace of mind about any sudden spikes in rates, as we have seen in June.
