Discussion about Austin Nichols House at 184 Kent Avenue in Williamsburg
Yes it is very cool and quite interesting but it is very very expensive for the area approaching and being higher than Manhattan rents because the owning company wants to keep out lower class Brooklyn people.
Thank you for your response. I'm looking for a 1BR, any suggestions on what line is the best? (city views, layout, terrace, etc..) to me it looks like the 7th floor with a terrace is the way to go if possible...
How are the apartments sizes?
I just moved in on Saturday, and absolutely love it! I love my apartment. The staff is nice and responsive, the courtyard has been completed, the gym is up and running. No complaints so far.
Why wasn't the lead problem reported to the HPD, clzozo? This sounds like a horrible experience and I hope your baby will be O.K.
clozozo123 is just spamming. There has never been lead detection in that building. I know few families who had bought into the building and no such claims were made. Why don't you post the report from your inspector?
They have gone through the inspection phase through the city from day 1.
Dont be surprised if you get taken to court from the building. GL!
Oh. O.K.
Anyone with more recent experiences in this building? What kind of crows lives there in general? Lots of college students or a good mix of anything? The building seems awesome, but I read some bad reviews on noise/neighbours/service on other websites. hopefully SE reviewers can give me some additional feedback
