Translation: are there any wrecks on the UWS that are priced to reflect condition, and are there any in particular that are good "value"?

bds: do you have any experience doing renos in a co-op?

nyc10023 - I think kyle knows exactly what the questions was. Response is more like "oh, you don't want to have to go through listings, go see apartments, possibly decide to make an offer on an apartment? Oh, that's right, someone here on SE will of course point you to a fabulous deal which, for some reason, they have decided not to take.

LOL

It took it to mean the opposite: Any apartments that were thoroughly redone, new systems and all, at which the owner is tuned into market realities enough to know his place doesn't automatically command a megapremium ... but I wasn't absolutely certain.

So Kyle's "huh?" is the right response.

Alan - I think your reading of the question was right on. bds IS looking for a totally move-in apartment for a "steal of a deal" price. As are so many other people on SE, who will OF COURSE point out all possibilities to bds because, as we know, SE posters are very generous souls.
