Due to strong demand within 11 5th ave., the house rules have been amended to allow dogs within the building. Many of us are excited as this will coincide brilliantly with the renovated dog runs at Washington Square park.

Wow. I suspect this will GREATLY increase the number of people interested in buying at the Brevoort because the no-dog policy was a HUGE barrier to entry for many prospective buyers, including myself.

Do you live there? Was this a referendum voted on by the shareholders or simply a board action? Was there a lot of opposition?

Congratulations and thanks for the info. My Chelsea-based firm has been selling the Gold Coast for decades and I can tell you that the change has just increased the worth of apartments in the building.
