Does anybody know when this building will start sales? It looks pretty much finished. What's the story here?

The units will never be put on the market. They will be sold privately to officials of the DIA.

What's "the DIA"?

I thought these were supposed to be rentals.

Does anyone know what's up with this building...a.k.a. 305 w. 16th. St? It seems to be finished. But, there haven't been any signs of life in it for the last couple of months?!

It will go on the market soon. It's a landlease.

No problem Sunny. Since it is a landlease co-op I'm wondering what prices they will come out with...

Good question. Don't "landlease" buildings often have reasonable sale prices, but crazy high maintenance costs?!

Went through this building recently. CORE will be hyping it on their TV show "Selling NY." Seems somewhat expensive, both initial cost and maintenance after tax abatement fades.

Any other thoughts?

Landlease buildings tend to develop high maintenance costs over time but not necessarily at the beginning. I don't think anyone with an independent financial advisor and any kind of reasonable sense would buy into a landlease building when there are so many other options including renting. Very unwise purchase.

Ive walked past this building several times and it is odd, has a strange energy, soemthing is just off.
It looks like a haunted house from the future
