mortgage broker v dealing with bank directly

What are the pro's and con's of using a mortgage broker versus dealing with a bank directly? I am putting $430k down and want to take a 30 year fixed mortgage for $325k for a 1br coop in the village. Have excellent credit. thanks for any input.
