Discussion about
Quick question...ballpark cost for re-tiling a small bathroom (with a bath/shower) with high end tile (leaving all other bathroom fixtures in place). Thanks!

Are you retiling the floor, too? If so, the fixtures obviously have to be removed and put back (sink and toilet). x You can't tile around them. Tile 1/2 way up or all way up walls outside shower?

You'll very likely need to replace the drywall once you remove the old tiles. If you use some kind of better marble (not 12x12 Home Depot stuff), I'd say $10,000 VERY rough. Removing the flooring too? Add more. You'll end up wanting a new vanity and toilet and medicine chest in the end so accept that and add some more. Don't forget about upgrading the faucets and lights. Oh, look. You're up to $20,000. See how fast that happens.
