Discussion about
We're doing some minor work in our new condo & we have to fill out this whole huge alteration agreement for the Management Co. The only big thing we're doing is electrical & having California Closets come in. Not moving walls or anything so don't even have a GC. One of the sections of the agreement is a letter to the apartments above/below/adjacent agreeing to pay for any damage done to their unit and it says they have to let my "designated representatives" inspect their unit before the work begins. Do most people do this? Who do I get to be my designated representative? I've done work in my previous (co-op) apartment and didn't have to do this. Any thoughts appreciated.

oh, and I'm not complaining about having to agree to pay for damages- that's no problem. I'm just trying to figure out the logistics.
