The Ashley

the building looks great but I'm concerned about location. I also wonder about whether the fancy gym complex will be ready when promised.

I've signed a lease. So far so good but there are still some unknowns and a little risk. Anyone know when the amenities will really open?

Sales agent at the Aldyn which shares the amenities says within three months.

The gym is still not open. When it opens the hours will be limited (6-10 am, 5-8 pm). Not sure who can afford to pay this level of rent if (s)he needs to leave her/his office at 630pm.

Have the amenities opened up yet? I agree, it makes no sense to have a gym if the hours are going to be so limited. Anyone have any comments on how they like living at the Ashley?

How are the amenities, hours of operation still limited? Location doesn't seem great, any issues?

The amenities are great and hours have improved tremendously. Location isn't an issue - it's a straight shot to the 66th street 1 stop and there are shuttles that can take you to Columbus Circle. The people here are great - the doormen are fabulous, neighbors are quiet, everyone is super friendly.

Anyone know if they are offering any incentives (free rent, gym membership, etc.) to new renters?
