I remember the first Madonna video I saw as a kid, I thought it was fantastic - lady gaga has a similar vibe.

oh, 10023, you wound me so. yes, indeed there are musicians from your generation, some crossing generations, other than cobain.

social d, john hiatt, red hot chili peppers, sonic youth, the replacements, etc.

but i banned madonna at my wedding. i doubt our musical tastes overlap.
