Discussion about
Does anyone know the name/brand of the kitchen cabinets that they have in their houses. They are glossy white (w/stainless countertops)and it looks like the fridge has the same panel. Thanks in advance.

@AlanHart, you are correct Ikea Akurum - we put the same into our kitchen 2 years ago.

It came from SMC Stone in brooklyn - they call it carrera.... who really knows.

My only problem with it was they had to split a section off as couldn't get it up to the 4th floor via the stairway - although it was as heavy as a MF i think i would have insisted they drop it in through the roof or soemthing next time as the join in the section bugs me every time i see it.

apart from that love it.

The Design Sixx cabinetry is from Boffi. You can achieve a similar look with Akurum at a fraction of the price but you won't be able to do custom integrated appliance panels.

SMC Stone is fantastic. Great pricing and install. They have a small showroom on Delancey. Ask for Ken.
