Discussion about
29 King Street 2I - same line as 3I- and! better views SOLD FOR $960.000 3 weeks ago. DO NOT PAY 1.5 asking price and war price broker is doing. Take a look: Sellers Freer, Bridget 29 King Street Apt. 3-I New York NY 10014 Needham, Edward M 29 King Street Apt. 3-I New York NY 10014 Buyers Goldstone, Jonathan Francis C/O Sam Eber 29 King Street, Unit 3I New York NY 10014 Seino, Ari C/O Sam Eber 29 King Street, Unit 3I New York NY 10014 Property Type Condo Size 988 ft² Price per ft² $1,367 Now they call it 1,200 while the lofted area was there when purchased by the seller now.
Why did you put these people's private info out there? Because you ANONYMOUSLY want to bring the price down?
Nice try.
Won't work. Loser.
That's not her motivation, commoner. Sandrita saw this place and was actually considering purchasing it for something near asking price. She went in w/o a broker and was receiving some pretty high pressure to sign a contract fast w/o due diligence. The place is ridiculously priced, and some of us here tried to talk her down the ledge.
Sandrita, from where did you get the 2I info? I don't see it on either Streeteasy or ACRIS. If you've got a broker helping you out, good. I know I was a little harsh earlier when I stated that if you're seriously considering this place at this price, you've got no business buying at this time, but I hope you now see it was coming from a place of concern.
In any case, I'm glad you're wisening up. BTW, we try to refrain from posting names on this message board. While all the info is a matter of public record on ACRIS, putting the names here means that somebody searching on Google for the name as, say, part of a job interview or in connection with dating the person may run across this info. By all means post the info, but just leave out the names as those of us nosy enough will simply look them up on ACRIS by ourselves.
Sandrita,
I will move on. The place is worth 1million if the bathroom is not renovated.
inonada, OK. What if someone related to Sandrita's deal decides to post her name etc. here? Anonymity should work both ways, or not work at all.
Kind of like someone trying to out someone. gee, has that ever happened on this board? and who might have done so?
And although I agree with nada as to restraint the information given was public knowledge, hardly anonymous.
commoner, I don't think sandrita's big issue here was the names. I think she simply posted it without thinking it through. I'm not defending the action, simply trying to explain what I perceive was her motive: carelessness.
FYI The place sold a hair off the asking price. I guess she was wrong....big time
the price is still too high even in sandria's post
and those info would become public on nyc website anyway, why you guys keep barking?
Well said Bill. Closing delta of 1.6%. The world works in mysterious ways.
Ahhh, same-firm brokers clapping themselves on the back...
Anyway, 2I was an inside transaction and an irrelevant comp.
