Why did you put these people's private info out there? Because you ANONYMOUSLY want to bring the price down?
Nice try.
Won't work. Loser.

That's not her motivation, commoner. Sandrita saw this place and was actually considering purchasing it for something near asking price. She went in w/o a broker and was receiving some pretty high pressure to sign a contract fast w/o due diligence. The place is ridiculously priced, and some of us here tried to talk her down the ledge.

Sandrita, from where did you get the 2I info? I don't see it on either Streeteasy or ACRIS. If you've got a broker helping you out, good. I know I was a little harsh earlier when I stated that if you're seriously considering this place at this price, you've got no business buying at this time, but I hope you now see it was coming from a place of concern.

In any case, I'm glad you're wisening up. BTW, we try to refrain from posting names on this message board. While all the info is a matter of public record on ACRIS, putting the names here means that somebody searching on Google for the name as, say, part of a job interview or in connection with dating the person may run across this info. By all means post the info, but just leave out the names as those of us nosy enough will simply look them up on ACRIS by ourselves.

Sandrita,
I will move on. The place is worth 1million if the bathroom is not renovated.

inonada, OK. What if someone related to Sandrita's deal decides to post her name etc. here? Anonymity should work both ways, or not work at all.

Kind of like someone trying to out someone. gee, has that ever happened on this board? and who might have done so?

And although I agree with nada as to restraint the information given was public knowledge, hardly anonymous.

commoner, I don't think sandrita's big issue here was the names. I think she simply posted it without thinking it through. I'm not defending the action, simply trying to explain what I perceive was her motive: carelessness.

Ahhh, same-firm brokers clapping themselves on the back...

Anyway, 2I was an inside transaction and an irrelevant comp.
