So what is the story with 120 Greenwich? Is the Deutsche building still being torn down or have they finished that part? I went last summer to look at a rental for a friend - rent was 2600 for 1br. I see now some have been reduced to 2100. I assume this is because of the construction going on right across the street? I would think the air quality is bad too. Anyone have any insight on what's going on around this place? thx

I own a 1 bedroom unit at 120 Greenwich St. It is a terrific building with great staff and it is convenient subways and the West Side Drive. Unfortunately, the Deutsche Bank building across the street continues to be a work in progress - it is truly exasperating! However, the W Hotel which is located next to 120 Greenwich is finally finished and believe the W will be opened to the public the first week in June. I would not hesitate to rent in this building!

They're almost done teearing down the Deutsche Bank building. The view of Ground Zero must be great for Bob the Builder fans!
