Horrible Broker - Ty Byrd

This how my deal went with the Same agent
Client Taylor Joss apartment Rent East 13th Street Having Dealt with Multiple other Brokers in this apartment searching process, Ty and Aventana could not have done a better job. I will and have recommended Aventana to collegues and Friends. Ty and Aventana Surely distinguished themselves from the rest of the competition Great work!!! Follow up from same client after the move in; Ty, Met the super, got my keys and am all set to move in this weekend. Can''t tell you how much I appreciate all your help here. In terms of the other brokers I dealt with (and believe me I met with a lot), you were without a doubt the most helpful, knowledgeable and reliable - you pretty much dwarfed the competition. I''ll keep referring everyone I know to you and in the case I''m looking to move in a year, you''ll be the first guy I call. Thanks again and best of luck. -Taylor

Taylor: I am sure Ty Bird appreciated your glowing recommendation. However when you use the poster name' tybird', it leads everyone to believe that Ty Bird himself registered using his own name-- perhaps unaware that it would appear in the text-- and wrote the glowing reference himself!! Perhaps since the only thing that anyone cares about is that MHG gets his money back, perhaps you can get Ty Bird to messenger it over to him today so this thread won't take on a life of its own.

This sleazy one-broker brokerage has "testimonials" on its website, just like a used car dealer's website or something of that sort, and this Bird just cut & pasted the ridiculously alliterate garble of words from the Lehigh Junior Community College graduate whom he presumably met at a Murray Hill postfrat party.

By the way, as noted on the site, Ty Bird is fluent in ... English!

yeah that "testimonial" was a hoot! I had to read it 3 times to figure out what was being said due to the weird and improper capitalization of random words. Due to the impeccable grammar I realized this could only have been written by a broker! LOL!

Stanford Park Apartment Rented 112 West 15th Street apt 1 Ty Did a Great Job in Finding us the expected apartment we where looking for. He understood our needs and was able to reach a deal that both we and the landlord were happy with. I would highly recommend Ty to anyone looking for an apartment. He is professional and understands the needs of his Clients and will get the job done!!

Tybyrd: You are killing yourself here. At least you dropped the pretense that you are not the one blowing smoke up your own behind but you need to understand that there is a claim here that you did not return money to a client. You need to refute that with a legal claim or give the guy the money back. Considering how important this site is to NY RE, it would be smart to just send the money to MHG and let him say so on this site. It will be worth it to your reputation in the long run.

unbelievable. to sink to the level of making up fake client testimonies to try to cover up unethical behavior is incredibly low. this ty byrd person sounds like a complete, delusional loser and any brokers who know him should really try to straighten him out, it's really hurting the profession! it would be funny if it were a joke, but his complete refusal to address MHG's claims and to somehow think his fake client testimonials will save his reputation borders on psychotic... wow.

Tybird, you may have to drop the 'fluent' in English. If you're going to write your own reviews, the correct usage of 'where' versus 'were' is very important. Unless of course your clients don't speak fluent English, then that's another matter completely.

I think what all of you jackals are missing in the op's original statement is where the he uses the worf "offer". Ad in "I am offering 150 per month LESS in rent AND was requesting a move in two weeks further out than the landlord wanted. This asshole was reaching, and didn't get what he wanted and is now blaming a broker who took a nonrefuindable deposit.
