A new movie about how poor parents in Harlem would do anythig to get their kids into the best charter school and away from the public union teacher establishment.

No, it's an old short story about how poor parents would do anything not to draw the ticket that means the other villagers will stone to death somebody in their family.

But the parallel is quite touching. It means that hedgies want to kill the children of poor parents in Harlem, and call it progress.

NYC is one of the very few places where for-profit charter schools use public school space for FREE. Why? See how fast the Chancellor becomes a highly paid charter school CEO after he leaves his current position.
