Inwood/ Park Terrace Gardens

I had my first visit to Inwood today and saw a good apartment at a reasonable price (the latter is hard to come by). But what is it like living up there? I didnt see many shops on my way to the subway but I would assume they are there somewhteere Does anyone live up there?

I live in park terrace gardens and like it very much. It is a professionally managed set of buildings and the maintenance is excellent. Calls to the management office are responded within one day. Often times, the issues are handled on the same day. The neighborhood is very quite and safe; you will enjoy it.

Thanks birdtype. I have visited the neighborhood now a few times and have really liked it. Do you know if FreshDirect delivers to the neighborhood? I really like their pizza.
