How long does it take from signing a contract w/deposit, applying for a mortgage up thru closing these days?

for our condo, we also spent about 3 months from the contract signed to closing this May.

The process to get a mortgage from start to finish will be approximately 3-4 weeks. The rest is up to you and the seller. Most condo closings can, and do, take place 30-45 days after contract signing.

Coops are closer to 45-60 days.
