Don't weep any tears for the sellers, the lack of transactions pre-ACRIS indicates that they are in the $.

CC: I've been on lots of Internet forums (most of which died eventually), and this kind of banter is common. Very, very common. I've seen some real master/mistresses of the game. One of them has even become an op-ed contributor for a major newspaper lately (which makes me think ill of the papers).

When we sink to the level of the third grade schoolyard with more adult curse words I can't help but think its off putting to casual readers who are interested in yes, real estate. There are people on this board who are extremely knowledgeable and can provide tremendous insight to those in the market or considering it. Unfortunately, it becomes difficult find between the endless links to non-re articles, and only slightly above the level of "your Mama" dialog.

Truth, I really don't know -- he's always a gentleman, and provides good insight into the real estate market and the business thereof. I think SE wanted to take a "fair and balanced" approach when banning an uber-troll, and swept CC into the "trolled" category.

Imagine raising your blinds to that every day. Everyone in the building complained for months but the police would do nothing because it wasn't illegal (imagine!). Finally I called and said we had called a dozen times and because they would do nothing, my husband went out to buy a gun (not true, he is a pacifist). The police were at my door in minutes. I reasoned with them and asked them to think of their mother in my apt and please go talk to him. They did. Problem solved. Hopefully our deranged one has a semblance of sanity and can grasp implications. But again, problem would be solved if SE blocked poster.
