Discussion about

I can't afford to buy yet, but am interested in renting in this building in the meantime. Any info from current or former residents would be helpful - i.e, how is the management of the building, are there any notable problems (bedbugs, issues from the construction site next door, traffic noise, etc), and what's the average rent for a 1BR apt. thanks...

I live/own here--great building, extremely well run and immaculate. I have no issues with the school construction even though I am on that side of the building BUT I am on a high floor. No traffic noise at all on high floors--windows are great. Did you look up rentals on streeteasy?? There are currently four for rent ranging from 3200 to 3900. Also, search for previous threads which discuss this building and others in BPC.

Thanks RE2009!! We are MOSTLY moved in--the official move will be the end of August but we have been staying there (hubby stays at least twice a week) but there is still a lot to do. I am getting a feel for the neighborhood--and liking it more and more. I cannot wait for that new store in the Visionaire to open!!! Once I am officially there, let's meet for coffee/drink. I know a nice little Italian place very close by!! :)

Sounds like a plan! We are all watching the store in the Visionaire like a pot of boiled water!!
