Don't know about the other items, but I insure a piece of jewelry for $25K for $550/year with the same $1000 deductible.
Can you get an umbrella coverage from your insurer? They normally offer that if you have auto insurance with them as well. It covers over $1mm in additional liability for a few hundred bucks more. Living in the US you need all the liability insurance you can get.
thats alot to insure that item 1142/year...
If you consider that it would cost minimum $100/ft to rebuild your apartment after a catastrophe, it would appear that you are underinsured for personal property protection. As well, you seem light on liability (most people suggest at least $1,000,000). Never heard of guest medical protection, but, if, again, the worst possible case, something did happen to a guest, $!,000 doesn't go very far towards medical costs these days. IMHO, you probably should be paying more to get more extensive coverage on your property/possessions/liability, and maybe less on the jewelry rider.
