If John Catsimatidis has an honest bone in his body, we should be seeing a few listings coming up.

My take is that nothing much is happening right away in NYC real estate. Jobs, economy and interest rates have a much bigger impact.

It will take time for Mamdani to implement whatever policies he can actually implement - at least 1-2 years. There is also a recognition in Democratic party that the party needs to improve its image on quality of life issues.

Public safety and quality of life impact : We have the same DA as before who doesn't want to prosecute lower level crimes. So one could reasonably say that DA has much more of an impact vs Mamdani over public safety and quality of life.

Some space on the UES seems to be opening up. And Astoria, depending on your grooming preferences.

Ha. I don't think there are that many left in NYC who want to move to FL or burbs. Just look at the prices on fire in NYC burbs (up 30-50% since Covid) making NYC mid range coops look cheap.

I just submitted two offers, one in Brooklyn and one in Greenwich village... Highest and best for both on Monday. And they were both just listed... Just my luck.

Not all UES moms are millionaires.

True, that’s very much a stereotype. There’s a handful who are billionaires.
