your broker is probably just preparing you up for the worst case scenario, margaritademe may have rented a sponsor unit which didnt require condo board approval.

I don't have any experience here specifically, but I've done two condo approvals. My current one was quoted at "up to 3 weeks" but took 3 days. The other one was quoted at "3 to 4 weeks" but took a week. So, I wouldn't sweat it, especially for what I'm guessing is a Nov 1 start.
