The pool is heated. I went and saw it today. Not a bad building, but it is sitting directly next to a Con Ed plant. Could be why the monthlies are so low?
The monthlies are low due to prudent spending and because it is an "East of Third" building.
It was the first condo in Manhattan, solid and well built. However, the neighborhood has several new condos as well. The Con Ed "plant" gives you open views and it is not actually a plant--it does not produce energy, only redirects, Granted it is not the most beautiful block in Manhattan, but extremely conveninent, near crosstown transportation, supermarkets and schools.
