I liked the apartments too, they were airy, sunny and most of all roomy. An unbelievable bargain at the prices they were offering. I however, would've liked more amenities. Hi folks,
I am wondering if anyone can dig up information on who is the sponsor or developer of this building. I too really like the feel of it. I am just worried - as they are 20% sold now - but they will be releasing another 48 identical units behind on Clifton Place in the coming year. Worried about what that could do to home value.

We made an offer at 10% below asking an it was rejected. They offered to pay half the transfer tax and were willing to reduce the price 3%.
After we declined their offer we never head back from them.

One thing about this set of buildings is that it appears that there is a design flaw for the units on the 2nd floors. The back window is prevented from opening all of the way because of the position of the iron railing on the Juliette balcony. I'm not sure about the first-floor units, but the other units have full balconies, so this doesn't appear to be a problem. They should have used regular windows that open by sliding the panes up and down instead of a crank that pushes the window out -- at least for the 2nd floor units, anyway.

I live in one of the first floor duplex units. Not all of the units on the second floor have this flaw - only a few of them don't allow for the window to open all of the way. If you're interested in a unit there- I would suggest speaking with the builder/realtor when you put in your offer, requesting them to make sure that the window opens fully and make this a stipulation of your contract.
Other than that, the building has been (knock on wood) a joy to live in so far. I love coming home!
