It's very Dylanesque, many verses. A rollicking tune.
Larry Campbell put some tasty fiddle and mandolin on it.

Steve can sing lead, if he can memorize all the verses.
There's a great verse about you in it, and a funny verse about w67th, too.

We may road-test it up at The Ramble.
It would be fun to drop it,out of nowhere, into the Beacon Theater set.

You have to know that both SE's are close to my heart, the scraggly one because he's followed me to every godforsaken town I've ever chosen to hang my hat, even Banff. I'll tell you what, put your SE song on youtube while wearing a "Spinny's fan club" propeller hat and I'll talk to Mrs and minny Spinny about -The Ramble? Is it that place in Central Park with all the latex on the ground?
