Discussion about
Hi, I am looking for a place, 2 bdrm, for about $3000 sq. ft. downtown. Preferably in BPC. It doesn't have to be one of the new buildings...For November 1st!

Try raising your budget by 1,000 or more. You won't be able to find any real 2 bedrooms or even jr 4s for 3,000.

Think a building without doorman in fidi will be doable for $3500 sq ft but it will be small 2 bedroom at around 1000-1100 sq ft advertised (real under 1000 sq ft)

That square footage is doable. I was showed an apartment of 766 sq ft for $3,800. A crib could barely fit into the second room. I need to fit a bed...Thanks for the advice.

I would imagine the recent murder of a drug dealer at 2 Gold might move 2 BR rental prices down to within your range.

Keep an eye on 376 Broadway, the building has some of the cheapest 2br downtown. Your budget is a bit low for BPC, even in the oldest buildings.
