condo tax abatement program

Individual condo unit owners are able to get a 17.5% tax reduction. The managing agent of the building must first get the building approved and then owners who arent sponsors should see this deduction on their bill. I just discovered that I havent been getting this deduction since I purchased in 05. ag. Everyone else in the building is receiving it as the building is approved for it. I dont know what happened as Im no sponsor and DOF has always had me as owner of record. Has anyone else had this problem and did you get the benefits applied retroactively?
